ReplyDeleteReally enjoying your blog, very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteRebsie's new album is a diverse aural feast of modern British Folk music. Her voice is sweet and resonant, at times reminding one of Maddy Prior, then shifting to Kate Bush before morphing to the more Celtic blend of Moya Brennan or Karen Matheson! Great. All recorded on an Apple Mac? Amazing. BTW, an interesting alternative version of Bob Stewart's "Cursing Song" was recorded in the 1980s by David Tibet & Current 93 with the illustrious Ian Reid on vocals.
