Audio and Visual treats

Just a note to draw attention to a couple of treats that may take your fancy. One from my daughter Rebecca who has a new album out called Seven Star Green which has as lead title a song written by my old friend and colleague R J Stewart many years ago, which I still think one of his best. And for some mind blowing photographs of the elemental side of nature, especially as revealed by trees and water, by Iain Duncan, son of my old sparring partner and fellow writer, the late Anthony Duncan. I remember Iain's first efforts as a kid with a clapped out old bellows camera and they were fantastic for his age. Now in maturity he has surpassed himself. Rebsie's new album is a diverse aural feast of modern British Folk music. Her voice is sweet and resonant, at times reminding one of Maddy Prior, then shifting to Kate Bush before morphing to the more Celtic blend of Moya Brennan or Karen Matheson! Great. All recorded on an Apple Mac? Amazing. BTW, an interesting alternative version of Bob Stewart's "Cursing Song" was recorded in the 1980s by David Tibet & Current 93 with the illustrious Ian Reid on vocals.
